DELFT is situated between The Hague and Rotterdam. Apart from a visit of the marvelous historical inner city a glimpse at the Campus of the Technical University of Delft is worthwhile. One reason is the Beton-Brut-Building of the Dutch architects Van den Broek and Bakema, with its technically as well as spatially extraordinary auditorium. Another should be the reaction on this building the campus library opposite designed by Mecanoo in the 90ies.

Next to the Campus, only separated by the highway, the VINEX-district Pijnacker is built. In the centre of this planned-district KCAP Kees Christiaanse realized around a housing block.
